Sameer Agarwal is a pharma leader with 30 years global experience, thereof more than 15 years senior executive level experience for Fresenius Kabi & Dabur Pharma with responsibilities for strategy, portfolio management, acquisitions, licensing, general management, sales & marketing. He has headed global pharma businesses in USA, China & rest of Asia, Europe, Russia and South America, covering key product types including oncology, biosimilars, pain management, anaesthesia, anti-infective and critical care. Sameer is also experienced in business development, IP, regulatory, pharmaceutical analysis and bioequivalence studies. He is a German citizen and lives in Frankfurt am Main. He has previously lived and worked from USA, Hong Kong, and India
Sameer holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, India, a Master of Science degree in Pharma Sciences from University of Toledo, USA and a MBA in Marketing from IGNOU, India. He attended Kellogg Executive Scholar Program (Sales & Marketing) at Northwestern University, USA and Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, France.
Sameer founded CSA Healthcare as a strategy and M&A consulting firm for the pharma, healthcare and life-sciences space. He serves as CEO & Managing Partner responsible for strategy, business development and key account management. He has held operational executive management positions in Europe, USA and Latin America, including eight years of executive management experience with an international Japanese pharmaceutical company in Germany and in Europe.
Roland’s functional experience focuses around issues of business strategy, business development, strategic and operational planning, operational management, regional management, strategic marketing, controlling, IT management, intellectual property management and market access. During his 14 years of top management consulting activities Roland has focussed on issues of business strategy, strategic and operational planning, marketing and sales, market access, customer relationships and business development. Roland has been associated with The Boston Consulting Group, Ciba-Geigy / Novartis, ATKearney, The Cambridge Pharma Consultancy / IMS Consulting and Santen.
After ending his career as a management executive, Roland today works as an independent consultant serving the international pharmaceutical industry.
